Dental Bridges

A bridge is a long-term treatment that is used to replace missing teeth. Bridges are fixed into place by cementing or bonding crowns over the adjacent teeth, improving the aesthetics of a missing tooth. These have the benefit of feeling very natural and seamlessly integrating with your natural teeth.

This process involves the placement of crowns over the teeth either side of the missing tooth. A replacement tooth is then permanently attached to the crowns adjacent to the missing tooth. These are often milled from one seamless ceramic block for optimal strength and aesthetics.

What are the benefits of bridges compared to a partial denture?

As these are fixed in place, patients do not need to remove bridges at night and will not feel them move while talking. Bridges will feel like natural teeth while chewing and will blend seamlessly with your existing teeth.

In some cases there are too many missing teeth to place a bridge. In these cases we can consider using implants to support the bridge.
