Children's Dentistry
We love seeing children and children love seeing us! At our family run practice, we understand the importance of giving children a positive dental experience from their first visit. Children don’t need to be scared of the dentist, we make every appointment as fun and enjoyable as possible so that they want to come back.
Each dentist is experienced in working with children of all ages and will make them feel at ease. We use age-appropriate language and visuals to explain what we’re doing, and we encourage children to ask questions and be involved in their own dental care. We recommend a child’s first visit from 2 years of age. This allows them to become familiar with the environment and ensures the best care of their baby and adult teeth as they develop.
Is your little one nervous about seeing the dentist?
Our dentists are skilled in using happy gas (nitrous oxide sedation) to help ease any nerves. Your children can watch a movie on our roof-mounted TV’s to keep them calm and engaged during their visit. Children also love the prizes they receive for being brave at the end of a visit.
Free children’s dental for CDBS patients
The Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) is a government-funded program that allows us to bulk bill eligible children aged 2-17 up to $1,052 over a two year period, with no out of pocket expenses. The program covers a range of services, including check ups, cleans, root canals, fillings, extractions, and X-rays.
Our reception checks your child’s eligibility prior to each visit, so please let us know if you think you are eligible or would like us to check for you.
“Very gentle dentists, who are always amazing with my four children. They now get excited when they know they have a dentist appointment. Super friendly staff also. So glad we found this place.”
